We had an amazing seminar with the Women Ablaze Team yesterday at MLCC. We served and ministered to 74 beautiful ladies. We heard great stories like a former atheist actually enjoyed herself and got a Bible to read. She was nervous about how to participate but was very glad to be there. We saw women who were glad to be invested in. The theme was "Begin Again" and we studied the book of Ruth in-depth. The ladies even wore crowns and royal robes and saw how Jesus saw them. They were excited about realizing their worth, how not only is there a Boaz waiting to restore them, but that Boaz was a kind of Christ, and how the similarities between Boaz and Christ were so similar. They also learned that there is a restoration "process", which meant there is work for them to do to get ready to be restored and redeemed. When you are royalty, you have to act and think like a royal, and associate with royalty - therefore, they learned there is some folks that need to be cut loose from their lives. We have been involved in prison ministry for 14 years beginning with the Christ the Rock Church Memphis prison ministry team. You looking for fertile land to plug into - this is it. These men and women are looking for real people to accept them, to lead and guide them without condemnation, and to love them.
