We had an awesome time at church today! I know this page is for Desiree Anders but I want to say a special thank you to my son Dustin Rose! He is the strongest 11 year old I know!! When all of this was first going on and we found out Desiree had cancer I took him to the Chapel in the Hospital and told him about her. Dustin asked Is she going to die? I told him I didnt know and he went straight to the Bible and went to the story of where the man was asking Jesus to heal his son and Jesus told him he was healed and to go home. When he got home they informed the dad that he was healed on the 7th hour which is when the father was talking to Jesus. Dustin said See mom we just have to keep faith and your her mom so if you ask Jesus to heal her He will He had a few opportunities to come back to Greenville but he refused. He came to the hospital everyday and when she was allowed he would take her for walks in the wheel chair and she would push her IV pole. When she couldnt get out of bed Dustin was right there waiting on Desiree hand and foot! They still pick on one another but Dustin loves his sister and whether they admit it or not they are best friends! Dustin gets her Ice water, her pillows, and whatever she wants or needs. Dustin has a huge heart and a fire for God! He wants to be a pastor and a cop when he grows up and I know the Pastor position he will be AMAZING at! I know Desiree is going through it all but it is painful for me and Dustin to watch her go through it! Up until 3 years ago it was only me, Desiree, and Dustin. Its been that way again for the past 2 months and Dustin helps me keep faith, he prays with me and he does communion here at the house. When we cant get to church Dustin will put together a Sermon and preach right here in our living room. Dustin is an amazing kid also and I am so blessed to have him as a son! He is my light at times! God has great plans for that little man and a huge calling on his life! Please help encourage him too! Thank you all for everything you are doing for my family! God bless you all!!
