We had our annual parish council meeting this morning. Its one of those essential bits of church admin that is hard not to regard as a chore and a bind - especially when youre running late printing out the reports! But the cumulative effect of revisiting everything that everyone does in a year was surprisingly uplifting - a timely reminder of how a church really is a corporate body, drawing on the different strengths and skills of a ton of people. Where would we be, for example, without Michael who is responsible not only for our flowers, but also for the beautiful Easter Garden he creates for us each year? Thank you, Michael!
