We had pasta with meatballs and sauce for dinner so in an attempt to make Jace something similar I also made him pasta. I used spiral noodles for ours so I made his spiral also (rice noodles for him soaked in chicken broth for better flavor). His sauce is made with tomato puree, cubed tomatoes, salt and touch of sugar with a little bit of chicken broth. His meat is breaded chicken. I took corn meal, potato flour and corn flour with a touch of salt and battered the chicken in it then slow fried it in a pan. Result: mock chicken parmesan (without the parmesan lol). He loved it and and ate most of it, preferred the chicken the most (tomatoes are a new food and he is still trying to acquire that taste). His side was cinnamon applesauce and he had a glass of rice milk to drink. Besides the awesome pancakes Debbi Vogt makes him for some breakfasts this is the closest I have gotten him to a full course meal that is like what the rest of the family is having. Only took us 5 years but we are getting there. Oh, he also had his second round of allergy shots yesterday. This time I only had to go after him once and he did not cry at all. He asked his nurse when we could get a dog and she said he will need shots for a minimum of 1 year maybe 2 before it can be considered. He did not like that answer and decided he did not want a dog anymore and that therefore he could discontinue the shots. Lol oh boy.
