We have a member of the Ares and Zeus family that is in need. She saved 2 dogs that desperately needed it and now she needs us to help her. I am going to call her Mary because she has been kind enough to give me permission to tell her story and I dont want to use her personal info. I have talk to her from the beginning of this page and she has shared some with me. Mary had something happen in her life a few yrs ago that was very traumatic and because it was so horrific she was diagnosed with PTSD. She is struggling a lot and most days it is a struggle to even get out of bed. Until we walk in the shoes of someone with PTSD we really cant imagine how it consumes you and debilitates your life. She says the dogs is what makes her get out of bed and the reason she keeps hanging in there. She is all alone in FL and doesnt have a support system here. I am so PROUD of her. She is going to try to get the help she needs back in Michigan close to her family. She has asked me if I can help her find a person that would be willing to foster her kids and love them while she is getting help and healing. She is going to be in Michigan so the ideal foster would be there. With PTSD she could suffer separation anxiety. Having the foster near her would be best. That way she can she her babies during the process. We dont have a lot of time. We need to have the foster in place and transport arranged for her to leave for Michigan by Jan 4-5 for her dr appt. If you are in the Detroit area of Romulus or near there and willing to be a foster please let me know ASAP. She needs to know her babies are being cared for till she is able to have them back herself. We will also need transport from Florida to Michigan. Here is little info on the dogs that she shared with me. One is heart worm positive and needs treatment. **I rescued them out of my neighbors back yard. Living outside, rarely fed or watered, no shelter, they slept under the house, no vetting, and the female was 2 yrs and on her 5th litter of pups. All died. Eaten up w fleas. I took them both when I moved in July of this year.** Below is before and after pics. The first 4 are before pics and the next 4 are after. Look at the difference love can make. Please A-Z family, lets help this young lady by finding a good foster. Pray for her to get the help she need to move forward and heal and be reunited with her babies soon.
