We have a roof leak no one can fix. Doorbell rings and there is a young man at my door. Hands me a flyer for roofing. Im thinking great this is what I need. I ask him to give me an estimate on the repair. He says he cant but can schedule an appointment he just needs to call his boss. I said ok, 5pm tomorrow. He calls his boss and his boss wants to confirm with me tomorrows appointment. In the same conversation he asks if my wife will be home. I said no. He said I know this is a dumb rule but we cant come out unless your wife is home. I said well thats dumb and asked why. He said its just something they do if there are questions. I said why does that matter? Im going to decide anyway. He proceeds to try and give me a good reason which he cant. So I said looks like your not coming out tomorrow and you are losing a potential customer. I left it at be here at 5pm tomorrow if you change your mind. I have never heard of such a thing. Company is Prestige. Amazing how they get in their own way.
