We have a streetlight in our driveway. A necessity when you live in a rural area. The bats just love this light. Hubby spent some time out there last night trying to get some pictures of these fast flying beasties. This is a red bat. In that one photo, the bat is after a Luna moth. A luna moth can have a wing span up to 4 inches. That glint in the photo is the reflection of the moths eye. This morning I found the four wings of the moth laying in the driveway. Apparently the bats do not like the taste of the wings.
