We have a very ill-conceived ban on plastic grocery bags in California. Ive been thinking about taking a folding table and opening my own plastic bag concession in front of grocery stores. If I sell the bags for a nickle (or rent them for 3 cents an hour with a 5 cent deposit) it will be cheaper for shopper than having to pay the 10 cents a bag fine inside the stores. Maybe Ill just install a coin-operated (penny a piece) plastic bag dispenser right outside the grocery stores. Creative Genius runs in my family. I have many more ideas, but greater priorities on my time - though this is a lot of fun.
