We have a very special angel with us that we want everyone to meet today. Sweet, sweet Mabel is a senior cat that came to our care after being found lying just off of the highway. After getting plenty of hardy meals and receiving an exceptional amount of love from our caring staff, Mabel is ready to find her forever home. She is an elderly, little lady, and at 14 years of age we are extremely dedicated to finding her a home as quickly as possible! While we adore this charming lady, and love her with all our hearts, a shelter life is not the way any cat should spend their life, especially so for those at Mabel’s age. Our greatest concern is that she’ll fall into the familiar depression that we’ve seen many cats her age suffer from when exposed to long periods of shelter living. Miss Mabel doesn’t want anything fancy, a quiet home, a warm lap and a squishy bed would be just enough to please her. Children and dogs may be too stressing for Miss Mabel but other senior cats with manners should be fine. Mabel is current on all vaccines, microchipped, tested negative for both FiV and FelV. However, due to Mabel’s age, she is not spayed. We adore this sweet lady, and we know anyone that meets her would to!
