We have been busy getting organized! Recently Getalong Dachshund Rescue was approved to join Petfinder. We need an ID# for each dog. This prompted us to finally count up where we are this year. Thanks to all of you, GetALong Dachshund Rescue Auction & Raffles DONORS & BIDDERS, GDR has rescued 93 dachshunds in 2014 as of this morning! Thanks thanks thanks to all of YOU! This doesnt include dogs rescued in 2013 so as a rescue, we are well over 100. Why is that number amazing when others boast 1000s a year? To us, it is AMAZING because 75% of those dogs are older, seriously medically needy, paralyzed, etc. Every life is worth saving, but we set out to save the hardest and with all of you helping, WE ARE DOING THAT!
