We have been mostly cloudy for most of the day this Wednesday here in the east, but in places (especially north of US70) the clouds have thinned enough to allow some nice breaks of sunshine late this afternoon. South of US70 skies are still mostly cloudy but a moderately cool and dry northeast wind should promote a gradual thinning of the clouds over the south as we move through the evening. That means that after the sun sets at 8:25pm most of us should see at least a little of the 82% full waxing (growing) gibbous moon filtering through those thinner clouds. Later tonight more low clouds will develop and the night will end with a mostly cloudy sky. It is moist enough for fog but the breeze should hold up and that would limit fog development tonight. Low temps will run 62-66 on the mainland and 68-72 along the beaches....skip
