We have deliberately waited until the arrival of lions before saying too much about the Pride of Pembrokeshire project on Facebook as we didnt want visitors thinking the lions were already here and being disappointed. So, now they are here we thought it was time we let you into a little bit more. Here are some photos of our fantastic education centre (still in progress) which we will use to tell the story of the decline of the African Lion in the wild. There has been a 30% decline in the wild African lion population in the last ten years. Threats to lions include habitat destruction and canned hunting which you can find out more about in our Motobo Hills Lion Research Centre...a rangers hut which was designed with help from real rangers carrying out valuable lion conservation work in Africa #prideofpembrokeshire
