We have had an interesting week on TASP, yesterday we saw posters confused with the tragic murder of eight innocent children in Cairns and they tried to link this with terrorists. I don’t believe our supporters are that naive, very poor taste on such a sad sad day. We also had a poster make the comment that on the Premier of Qld should have attended the funeral, personal opinions are fine except this was a national tragedy and the Prime Minister was invited and besides both opposition leaders attended and there was no comment about that. We have also had a poster make the statement that our Prime Minister supports Halal, our Prime Minister chooses freedom of choice, freedom of expression and more importantly freedom of speech, if anyone cares to look at who is doing all the blocking in the senate they would not be making these statements. Halal is not a tax it has nothing to do with the government, businesses choose to pay Halal they pay this in the belief that it will sell more of their products. We the consumer have a choice if we choose to pay for Halal certification.
