We have had previous correspondence with East Lothian Council tmcto.org/index.php/forum/unhelpfull-councils/497-east-lothian East Lothian Council have now erected new signs along The Roan and up the hill at North Berwick. These signs ban overnight parking and Campervans. I have sent this request: Please treat this as a Freedom of Information request. We have been informed that East Lothian Council have erected new signage in North Berwick. Photo attached. Can you let me know under what regulations these have been erected. The person who informed us states there is no TRO or Bylaw covering theses signs. This information also was posted on another motorhome forum.. Could you please let me have a copy of any, On or Off Street Parking orders/regulations, Traffic Regulation orders or Bylaws that are in place that affect parking in East Lothian. It is not an expensive exercise to photocopy or scan documents. I also request that The Motorhome Tourism Organisation (The Motorhome Association) be formally consulted under The Local Authorities Traffic Orders (Procedure) (Scotland) Regulations 1999 Part II section 4. As a body representing Motorhome users. Can you please pass this request on the legal or other department/s involved.
