We have highway crews out responding to storm damage (possibly tornado) in the Waverly area of UNION County, the Corydon area of HENDERSON County and in parts of northern WEBSTER County. No state highways are closed. KY Transportation Cabinet crews have been authorized to assist city and county crews with clearing other roadways in this area. We also have Interstate 69 closed at the 80 mile marker in CALDWELL County. This is between the KY 91 Interchange and the KY 293 Interchange at Princeton. A number of power transmission lines have fallen across the lanes of I-69. Detour is via KY 91, US 62, and KY 293 through Princeton. Traffic along this detour is being hampered due to a power outage that has knocked out the traffic signal at the US 62/KY 91 intersection. Motorists are asked to avoid these areas, if possible.
