We have hit our first hiccup since transplant. The last few days Sawyer has gotten increasingly gaggy, has been puking a lot and has extremely watery poop. The doctors are concerned that that he has graft vs host in his stomach. Tomorrow morning they will do a scope of his stomach and up his bum (EGD). They will take pictures and do a biopsy. The doctors will discuss the pictures with us right away but we wont hear if its graft vs host until 24-36 hours after the EGD. We wont be able to go on the 4 hour passes until they figure out what is going on. We loved our little slices of normal life and are bummed to be spending full days here. Please pray that the EGD tomorrow shows very clear one way or the other so the doctors know exactly what to do to help Sawyer. Please pray that Sawyers pain goes away. He has been very restless at night and is in pain as he is gagging. Best buds!
