We have practically been begging these people since March to allow us regularize our status with the Ministry of Information and the Liberia Telecommunications Authority. We have the money, we want to pay, but they wont accept our money. It is very clear that they are not interested in the money as they publicly claimed back in April. We even had our lawyer write Minister Lewis Brown to re-inforce our first communication, but as of yet they seem bent on their plan to shut Voice FM 102.7 down...I say this to the government of Liberia; having exhausted all legal means to be in good standing with you, which efforts you have continued to frustrate, I am now left with no option but to say this to you; come shut us down. While we have been grappling with this on one hand, the NSA has also been jamming our frequency particularly during The Costa Show airing, thereby causing some of our listeners mainly in central Monrovia area to miss out on the program. I am tired of this nonsense!! Bring it on.
