We have received more inquiries about our adoption fees. The adoption fee is $140.00 and regrettably non-negotiable. Our babies are spayed/neutered, up to date on shots, we pay for the microchip for the first year, and the fee also provides for one month vet insurance. We make absolutely no money off the animals we rescue. To the contrary, in 90% of the cases, the fee doesnt even cover the vet bill. Anything over comes out of Carols private - and depleted - account. Animals who stay with the rescue for extended lengths of time are fed and housed and well taken care of: food, toys, bedding, shampoo etc etc etc. We have never added those costs because it is a task done out of love and generosity by Carol - but the amount would be staggering for sure. We haven often been asked for a discount - and as much as we would like to oblige, such discounts would lead to the end of the rescue operation due to financial ruin. And we need to stay in business. Until we are put out of a job...Because there are no more strays and lost furry souls. ..... We appreciate your understanding and support.
