We have set at least our initial plans for UKI shows through the first half of 2015 :-) We very much enjoy having small, laid back UKI shows here at the farm. So, to start off the year, we will be hosting an afternoon of UKI once a month here, offering a Masters Series (which also includes opportunities for Jumping & Agility qs) along with at least one game (more as the weather improves and the days lengthen). Our Tuesday UKI at the Farm series of shows will be: January 13 February 17 March 3 April 21 May 5 June 23 We will be hosting our two day summer show here at the farm on the weekend of July 17 - 19 (we will either host this event as a Friday afternoon with subsequent cookout then Saturday morning ... or ... Saturday afternoon with subsequent cookout then Sunday morning) ... and ... we are looking into ways to maybe put together another show or two under covered arenas ... weekend evenings and mornings ... during the summer ... maybe even early fall. For the Tuesday UKIs at the farm, we will be rotating through local judges. Meagan Skelton has been kind enough to volunteer to judge the first event. Dudley the second. Im taking the third. We might be able to get Brian in here to judge one too. Maybe a few others. Entries are limited to 60 runs for the first two Tuesday afternoon shows here at the farm, to make sure we have enough daylight. We have set up automated entry forms on our website linked to: carolinapiedmontagility/tuesdayafternoonuki.htm INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICIES While Carolina winters are relatively mild, these Tuesday afternoon shows will be outdoors and weather is a consideration. Our groomed dirt playing surface is designed to drain well and runs nicely when wet. However, in the case of severe inclement weather (forecasts for significant rain, snow or freezing temperatures), we will make a decision before 9am day of show. Notices will be published to our website: carolinapiedmontagility and our facebook page facebook/carolinapiedmontagility If the trial is cancelled, entries made via our club’s website will be automatically withdrawn before the 9am day of show deadline (withdrawals before closing yield a FULL refund).
