We have severe issues of under-nutrition, of stunting, because of a lack of nutrition in the first 1,000 days of life. Then we waste 30-40 per cent of food in the food supply as if its nothing - thats a $500-600 billion worth of food every year. On the other hand, were creating the biggest epidemic the world has ever seen - diabetes, and obesity. That whole food chain needs to be thought through better.
