We have so far discussed no. of problems related to parent / children relationship etc. most of the discussions in my opinion have been about parenting. For a change - we can analyse what options are available in higher secondary for children to move away from routine Science & Comm. groups. If I remember correct Adarsh group of Schools in Chennai offers, Home Science, Nutrition & Diet, Type writing, Secretarial practice, Cooking, Tailoring, Basic Business Management etc. as Vocational courses. Some schools offer Psychology, History, Advanced English etc. So, friends, if you are aware of such alternatives to the routine Sci., Comm., groups - which some children resist - you may post here so that such students parents can look for these courses.
