We have this Story in three of the four Gospels (Matthew 26:57-58, 69-75; Mark 14:53-54, 66-72; John 18:12-18, 25-27) We all know the Stories from Peter when he denied Jesus, and than wept bitterly and repented and was restored unto Jesus love and grace again we can read this in John Chapter 21:15-19. Not like Judas he hanged himself in Acts 1:16-20 and also Matthew 27:1-10. But you can read in verse 3 that Judas had remorse and not true repentance. Mt 27:3-4; When Judas, who had betrayed him, saw that Jesus was condemned, he was seized with remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and the elders. 4 “I have sinned,” he said, “for I have betrayed innocent blood.”
