We hope youll take a moment to watch this new video, recently released by Minnesota Reading Corps, highlighting the exciting results of the rigorous, third-party program evaluation completed earlier this year by NORC at the University of Chicago. Among many other exciting findings, the research demonstrated that elementary students tutored by Minnesota Reading Corps AmeriCorps members achieved significantly higher literacy levels than students without such tutors, and that the impacts were statistically significant even among students at higher risk of academic failure.
