We just finished filming the life of Paul today. Our team flew 6,200 miles to get to Perge, Turkey where we began filming, then travelled by bus and plane another 2,322 miles retracing Pauls journeys, filming for 9 straight days in the ruins of 11 ancient cities. LaVon and I are taking the next four days to rest before heading back to the US. We filmed in Rome today, capturing the end of Pauls life. We visited a church that claims to have been built over the home where Paul lived under house arrest for two years. We visited the Mamertine dungeon/prison where Paul and Peter were thought to have been imprisoned just prior to their executions by Nero. Yesterday we visited Tres Fontane where Paul was thought to have been executed. And we ended our filming at St. Paul Beyond the Walls where he is believed to have been buried. We also at great pasta and gelato in the last two days here in Rome! Heres a few pics. Be sure to read my comments about them that youll see in a few minutes when you click on each pic.
