We just finished watching True ROmance, another film revisited. Here is a movie that became an instant classic, humour, character, well directed and a great script. Big cast , it wins in all directions, and good guys get away in all the confusion. One of the best scenes in Dennis Hopper giving the bad guys the rub-nose....he knows hes going to bite the bullet, so he pisses him so he wont delay the inevitable, great writing. It was a early work of Tarrantino on the script, and you can see many of the actors he would later work with with cameo roles. It was made with very little money and come up trumps. The music was cool, and there is a thin line between our heroes being bad and the bad guys, our heroes just want to ride off with some loot into the sunset, while they want to bury them. One of the best scenes is with the Actor who would later play a big part in Supranos....here is taunting our female lead about how he loves to kill etc, while she is trying to beat him at his own game....she wins.
