We just got back from dropping Elder Logan James Wilcken off at the Arizona Gilbert Mission office... President Toone and Bishop Carling came over last night to set him apart as a full time missionary... He will be in the Gilbert Mission for two transfers...(3 months) About two months out, an evaluation of his abilities will be sent to the Mission Office in Salt Lake... Then he will either be released from mission service or he will be given another call at the same mission or another mission location for an additional 21 months... If he receives the 21 month mission extension... He will return home from the Gilbert Mission... go through the Temple and then proceed to the Mission Training Center in Provo... following his training there, he will be sent to his respective assignment area... Preston and Sharon were able to drive in late last night to go with us to drop him off... It was more than just a tender parting as you can imagine... but we wouldnt change it for the world... We will continue to fast and pray for his success... what ever that degree might be... Just the fact that he is were he is at this point is the result of a stream of wonderful miracles.... :-) :-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) :-) :-) :-) ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) :-) Melissa Wilcken Tyler and her whole family were here last night along with all of Scott and Beckys family,,, Grandma Hall...
