We *just* passed 150 patrons today! patreon/ChrisPirillo - thank you for making TLDRs future possible! You may not realize it as someone who casually watches content (or hops from channel to channel without much affinity towards one person/brand or another), but this kind of thing is going to become the norm for people who produce all kinds of content on a regular basis. Other geeky entertainment pioneers (like Leo Laporte at TWiT) have been doing it for years. Someone emailed me last night and seems to be under the belief that this is a competition between people like myself. It isnt, I can assure you. Were all trying to do what we do without having to worry about fluctuations that could cause us to stop doing what we do for you. Or, to put it another way: how many of your favorite YouTubers have gone away or changed because they couldnt sustain it over the years? Onward and upward!
