We just saw the best movie weve seen in awhile, St Vincent, with Bill Murray. I usually like anything hes in but this was poignant, sad, funny, uplifting without being sappy. I have to admit I teared up there for awhile. To me the best part was there were no vomit scenes in the whole movie. Weve seen the Judge, Alexander with Shane, and a few others recently and in the Judge there were four vomit scenes and a bathroom scene that was diagusting and Alexander started out with a vomit scene. I guess its harder to write screenplays nowadays so you put scenes in that a fifth grader would write and you make 100 million. Thats why I treasure movies like St. Vincent because it was well written without having to be vulgar and digusting.
