We just witnessed the deliverance of a woman who was addicted to eating charcoal, ash and raw rice for 24 years. She explained that the problem had tormented her so much that she had come to prefer these substances to normal food. The 28 year-old woman from Kenya said if there was no charcoal, she would make sure she had ash. She demonstrated how she used to eat the three substances by breaking one big charcoal with her fingers and chewing the pieces the way one would a bar of chocolate. She pleaded for her deliverance from the bondage. She was prayed for and received her instant deliverance in Jesus’ name. Later, she was given the same substances to eat. She chocked on them and spat out. However, when a sumptuous meal of rice and chicken from The SCOAN café was given to her, she eagerly ate – evidence that she was indeed free from the 24 year-long affliction.
