We know all the good things the cardinals did against the eagles but there are still some things that concerned me about that game 1. Both of our guards keep getting beat, and they are being beat physically. Neither stand out as power blockers in the run or have good light feet in pass blocking. I think it is hurting the entire team as Ellington averaged under 4 yards and Palmer completed 48% of his passes. With that production from the offense it leads to 3 and outs and more plays for the other team. Coop should be given more chances to play along with Watford as both are athletic AND and powerful. TE Troy Nickolas can also help with the blocking as he is our best blocking TE who has been hurt for a while now. 2. Foles threw the ball 62 times!!! While McCoy run about 20 times! Thats coming because our line play for the guards are getting the offense off the field to soon with poor blocking and putting the defense on field consistently. 3. What also hurts the defense is no pass rusher is stepping up! A lot of times even when we blitzed the eagles blocked it really well! Foles had all kinds of time like most QBs we have faced. Honestly our secondary did a great job covering for the most part but you can only cover for so long before somebody breaks loose. 4. What the heck happened to Floyd?? And our TEs?? Floyd dropped a pass in the end zone that he usually makes. Floyd had ZERO catches. Carlson eeeh I cant be to mad at him for not catching that TD pass, that was a great play by the linebacker to not give up on the play and swat the ball out of his hands. Still Carlson didnt make much of an impact again. Thoughts?? Am I expecting to much?? What do you guys think cardinals need to work on?? ADub24
