Before my departure, a friend of mine asked me what I wanted as a parting gift; I told her to select the songs she loved the most and then make a compilation for me. After I listened to it, I felt closer to her, as if she had given me an important part of herself. So now, every time I work on a story and I sketch my characters, I try to imagine, among other million things, which songs theyd consider worth sharing with their friends, their loves, or even the rest of the world. Its a good way to get to know my characters better.
