We learned today of the death of longtime Ypsilanti educator, Maude Forbes. Maude was a teacher for many years at Perry. She also served in the Community Education Department and on special projects through the 1960s. Mrs. Forbes was Principal of Fletcher School in the late 1970s and retired from YPS as the Principal of Adams Elementary School. She died on Saturday and her funeral is Friday, June 6 with family hour at 10 a.m. and funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5 - Family Hour is from 4 to 7 p.m.
