We live in a time when there is much pressure to meet up demands and expectations. For parents, pressures from children for school fees, what to eat and what to wear. We face pressures from peers, parents, etc. All of these pressures weigh heavily on us. Unknowingly, many are overtaken by these pressures and consequently a child of God cease a reason and act as one. A good Christian soon begins to live in ways contrary to his belief. Shortly, one begins to live in ways contrary to his life. Shortly, one begins to live only to meet the needs and expectations from everyone around. Living just to meet the needs and expectations of people around us is not what God has raised us up to do. Surprisingly, we keep seeing ourselves been driven by needs and our reasoning and e perception soon become thwarted. Our value system comes from what we believe. Our value system inform choices we make everyday. Matthew 6:33: “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Many are believers who do not actually believe. Do we really believe that if we stick to the kingdom of God and His principles our needs will be met? Because we are not sure, we go after other things
