We live in a time where violence against women is becoming increasingly more acceptable. More and more videos surface and are shared via social media of young men fighting girls like they were other males. Rarely does anyone step in to intervene...instead its recorded and often encouraged. God created woman to help man, in return man is her protector. When we lose this basic rule we lose all hope for humanity. Once upon a time you were considered the lowest form of life for committing crimes against women. The only thing worse was crimes against children. Other men would gather together and little mercy would be shown when they found the responsible person. Not anymore... I only got to meet Joslyn a few times, the first when she did makeup for models at a photo shoot, but we instantly begin to crack jokes and I could easily see what she was all about. Pretty smile and kind heart, and certainly not deserving of how her life ended. All things happen for a reason though, and in her life and death there is a message for those of us still here. Its not the same message for everyone, it never is. But in senseless tragedies like this we have to look past it and find the light that God always shines. I hope and pray that those whose lives she touched can do just that...
