We lost Frannie tonight. We were away from the house for about five hours to see a Christmas play at a local church. When we got home she was in her crate and still warm. There were no signs of struggle or distress. Our security system was on and did not detect any movement from her. She had been to the vet this week and had received a clean bill of health except for a very slight heart murmur. She had been active all day and had given one more mule deer reason enough to leave our back yard.She would have been 11 years old on the 26th. We feel she passed peacefully at the end of another happy day.
