We must never forget that on this day thirteen years ago we were all witnesses to one of the worst hate crimes in human history. A graphic example of what happens when one group of people out of extreme selfishness and cowardice chooses to deprive others of their ability to make choices for themselves and to rob their families of that which they can never replace. It is nothing but evil incarnate and something that we as a nation must never forget--most especially the awe and reverence at how we came together everyone flying their American flags, heads bowed in both silent and vocal prayer, how everyone was a little kinder, more considerate, patient and loving towards one another. How the United States of America emphasized what it means to be united as a people with the power of love. In this day it is my personal hope and prayer that we remember that same spirit today both by our thoughts and our actions. What kind of country do you want Americas children to inherit?
