We need a plan! The poor will be with us always. However what do we do with our bankrupt government on a macro and micro level. This hurts my soul. We are slaves in this country and patriots can say what they like about this country being so damn free. We mistreat our Veterans and we can send them to their deaths in pride and hand out medals(yes that is shade to you know who) to them but cant take care of their mental and physical well being. We can put our students in debt chasing an American dream that is suppose to be attainable but yet it is like putting cheese in front of rat. We can police the world and can enforce democracy every where but our own damn back yard where Donald Trump can take out an ad on 5 black boys and make them guilty even though the evidence says otherwise. I could go on! America wake your ass up! You around here hollering hope and change but the reality is this country is a mess. We are still racially divided, and stubbornness and racism has dictated what has happened in Washington for almost eight damn years! I dont agree with every decision the President has made and I feel like he was weak as water on the economy in 2008 and he still is. Economic indicators of today are no longer sufficient measure of the health of a countrys economy. However, I still respect him and applaud what he has done without any help for real from congress on either side of the aisle. There is no need to turn on your citizens the way Detroit is doing, and if this country doesnt turn around this is going to start happening everywhere. America is in desperate need of an economic revolution. The one percent has effectively killed the muffle class in this country. Now what does the poor girl from Bessemer, AL have to aspire to now that you sold her the dream that education was all she needed to have her home, car, and reasonable amenities to live the dream. I guess it is like when UA said there were too many minorities and middle class students enrolled at the school lol, but hey they need the minorities to maintain the mega sports program so what do you do? Roll Tide by the way, but racism still lives there just as it does at most traditional colleges and universities across the country. Wake up America! #wakeupamerica
