We need to realize that something needs to be done for the revert brothers and sisters. Just calling them to Islam isnt enough...they need more help after reverting..in terms of knowledge,finance,shelter,jobs ,marriage.. We need to keep in touch with them..They need to be taught the basics,the method of wudu,ghusl,Salah..and other details. For those who are not allowed to stay at home by the family..they have to be given shelter.. Those who are financially weak need help. As they are reverts,a born Muslim might not want to marry them due to societys pressure. Inspite of this, Alhamdulillah so many people embrace Islam. This shows that it is the truth,the beauty of Islam that captures their hearts..Allah Guides them and saves them from the evil of Shirk.SubhanAll ah. Allah elevates their ranks. We as a community need to realize these problems and be like the Ansars were to the Makkans.. Helping them..educating them,helping them find jobs,providing shelter.. And this is not the responsibility of an individual or a family or a group but the entire community (Muslims).. The Dilliwal,Awlewal,Bihari,Punjabi,Gujrati,Bengali,Iraqi,South Indian, ..then the madhabs..all this shouldnt stop you from helping your brother or sister in faith. The Muslim Ummah is like one body,a huge family and we are all brothers and sisters in faith.If one is suffering or in pain and needs help ...it is our responsibility to help. A group of people will invite people to Islam..another group of people will educate them..another group will help with other aspects-shelter ,jobs,marriage etc. Even at the time of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) there was distribution of responsibilities.Some Sahabahs like Abu Bakr r.a.,Muadh ibn Jabal r.a. and others would call people to Islam..Some Sahabahs who were wealthy would support the community. Thats how a community progresses..the strong (in knowledge,wealt h,resources etc) help the weak (in terms of what I mentioned above.) May Allah give us hearts like the Ansars.May Allah instill in our hearts Love for Him.May Allah Help us to utilize the blessings He has bestowed upon us to Please Him,to serve His Deen and the Ummah.Ameen Dear brothers & sisters,I would love to read your comments/ opinion on this.
