We need to reconnect ourselves with our Maker, we need to remember Him often, praise Him often, devout all our time worshipping Him and make Him the priority of our lives. Allah s.w.t has created us solely for one purpose and that is to worship Him alone but what do we do instead? We are so engrossed in this temporary world that all we want to do is have fun, hang out with friends and entertain ourselves. We forget that we will return to Him one day, empty handed. We will have to leave behind those that we love, every one of us, we are going to leave the comfort of the dunya and we will be leaving it behind. Every single one of us will be carried and be put in that hole in the earth. The grave is dark and as soon as you are put in the dark pit, the grave will welcome you by squeezing and hugging you. It seems like a hug but it is a painful squeeze. No loved ONES or NO loved THINGS will be with us in our graves except for our good deeds Therefore, do not get attached to anything other than Allah because it is only our good deeds that will be going with us in our graves, your family, friends, wealth, house and fancy car, everything will be left behind!
