AOC Email Alert Federal Overreach Summit Presented by Alaska Citizens Advisory Commission on Federal Areas (CACFA) August 12 & 13, 2013 at the Dena’ina Center in Anchorage The legislatively created Alaska Citizens Advisory Commission on Federal Areas (CACFA) has assembled an impressive gathering of individuals who are instrumental in how Alaska relates to Federal laws effecting management of Alaska’s lands, waters, and fish & wildlife; Senator Lisa Murkowski Senator Mark Begich Congressman Don Young Governor Sean Parnell Attorney General Michael Geraghty Deputy Commissioner of DNR Ed Fogels These distinguished individuals along with a number of Alaskans will discuss the current relationship between federal managers, responsible for managing 62% of Alaska, and Alaska state managers responsible for natural resource management and development statewide. The public is invited to attend the Summit by registration.
