We never realise the importance of air and the ability to breathe until it is taken from us. For some, it could mean the difference between life and death. It takes a single breath of air to recite the Shahaadah and testify our belief in Allah, but without it we could be doomed. May Allah ease our hardships in this life and the hereafter. Parents feel the importance of breathing when watching their sick baby every second of the night, assuring they are still able to breathe! I didnt know how much I made my parents worry over me as a child simply due to a breath of air.... but now I know! (Sh. Daood Butt)
