We now have made up starter packs. Consisting of a small tank/medium tank with 2 mice, small food, small bedding, bowl, wheel and mouse house and all the follow up support (free service to help you/teach you how to keep your pocket-pet happy) for $35 (sml tank) and $38 (medium tank). Delivery to the local area and home inspection (to satisfy me that you are not after live food or breeding stock) is an essential inclusion which consitutes $15 of the price. However you are welcome to visit, and inspect the mice, pick out colors, and grab some extras like treats, other toys and hideys, and have a chat about just about anything. Bring the kids, they get to cuddle and console emotionally sensitive guinea pigs, pet a rabbit and talk to our resident ducks (dont start an argument with them as they are our debate champions, so far undefeated) and play with my daughter on the trampoline, swings etc while the grown ups have a talk about life, the universe and everything :) a fun day for all!! All monies collected will contribute DIRECTLY to the continuation of the Shelter. Not once red cent ever goes towards we the people, our cars, rent or any of that, just the animals.
