We posted here previously about the cosy direct connections between the wind industry, An Bord Pleanála and Eirgrid, complete conflicts of interests. When opponents of pylons and wind farms gathered last week, they were highly critical of An Bord Pleanála continued decision to grant planning for wind farms despite the recommendation of the board’s own inspector not too. This has happened so many times that five groups are now taking An Bord Pleanála to the high court over their decision making.
