We received a distress email from our friends at BARCS in Baltimore, MD. Rango needs our help! The vet estimates he is only 3 years old. He was left outside on a giant chain with no food/water or shelter. Thank God animal control came and picked him up. The shelter released him to us immediately due to his dire physical condition. As soon as we got the email we responded that we would be there to get him to our vet ASAP. Our go to girl for dobes at BARCS Michele D. immediately went to the shelter and got Rango to Btown. . The vets have evaluated him and taken chest x-rays. He is a very sick fellow with a rapid heart rate and an enlarged heart but he is a fighter. The vets describe him as puppyish even though he is so sick. We were able to get him an appointment with a cardiologist tomorrow to have an echo-cardiogram, EKG, etc so we know what he needs to feel better. We have had several people generously donate heart meds to us so we have the meds that he will need. I will let you know how it goes tomorrow. Please pray for Rango. He is a very sick boy., EKG, etc so we know what he needs to feel better. We have had several people generously donate heart meds to us so we have the meds that he will need. The cardiologist appointment will run between $500 - $700 so if you would like to make a contribution to Rangos Fund, I know he would appreciate it. DAR&E Treasurer, P.O. Box 5531, Arlington, VA 22205 I will let you know how it goes tomorrow. Please pray for Rango. He is a very sick boy.
