We received the best email from a customer today. With her permission, we are posting it here: Dear Sharon and husband, Well, on September 16, 2014, I found you when I found myself in a state of panic. In trying to be a good long distance grandma I told my 4 grandchildren out east I would help them plan a little party for their mom, my daughter. While raising her and her brother I never believed they would ever move 800 miles from home let alone have and raise my grandchildren far away also. Now we know it can happen and it can be lonely but doing things like planning this little party teaches you a great deal about people and procrastination. ...and how making things happen over any distance is possible with the right people. After a first attempt I found myself on a fast and sharp learning curve. The 4 grands have been great and along the way I have not only come in contact with a network of spectacular people, and you two at GET ME BEADS are among those. Like Kimmy from Kimmys Kakes in New Jersey, to Balloon Planet who worked with a company in New Jersey, to you two at Get Me Beads in Tennessee, I have met life long, trustworth, talented people and formed a network I hope I can partner with many more times in the future. These are all small business owners who have proven to me where the heart of this country lies. No corporations or huge chains could have ever been more creative, even if willing to give me, a total stranger, an actual portion of their private time to help make an idea come true. There is not one doubt I will again work with each of these people oriented businesses who treat their customers as human beings just like themselves, no take a number here or listening to irritating music while on hold. Each one of you chose to go the extra mile and really lived the Golden Rule, you all know it, treat others the way you would want to be treated. I dont think parents even teach their kids the Golden Rule anymore and it is obvious where that is leading our social values and tolerance Of our fellow man. So, thanks to GET ME BEADS and Sharon and her husband who took time from their vacation time to respond to me, for answering my questions, for offering high quality hard to find items and driving miles out of their way to find a post office that provided the best chance of a fast and flawless delivery, all the while keeping me updated all hours of the day and night. (no one on Earth can do anything with the Post Office)! My package arrived today and we are all so appreciative. I know I will be a loyal customer as long as my family continues to grow and love their high quality merchandise. I would like to give my permission, because of the friendly and professional attitude and quality merchandise in the name of the consumer, to use my comments on their business if they so choose.
