We salute the scout! Matt Giordano is a 10th grader at Columbia; his Eagle Scout project honors the memories of former students gone too soon. Matts job was to clean-up and landscape the Memorial Garden area near the East Greenbush Community Library and the YMCA. The garden is dedicated to students who passed away while attending Columbia High School. CHS principal John Sawchuk gave Matt the project, and he did a fantastic job! We are proud and thankful for what hes done. All of the landscaping materials, shrubs, and a tree were donated to Matt’s Troop, 522, by Beckers Farm on Columbia Turnpike.
