We should all watch this and share. I believe the media truly gets us hyped up and in a few months its going to be something else to debate about and delete people off facebook for. I dont want to be sucked into drama, but now that everyones ears are perked up and we are trolling the social media to look for more fuel to add to our arguments and our opinions(dont say you dont because we all know its true)..im going to take advantage and encourage you to share this video. I dont mean to get up on a soap box here and annoy with you my posts,& some of you may be thinking my opinion is completely irrelevant because im a young white female. what does she know of oppression or racism? youre right, I dont. I will never know the horrors of slavery or racial segregation, but i am able to read about it, learn, absorb wisdom and knowledge from the historic peacemakers of the past, and i will not allow history to repeat itself. I will never ever turn my back on people who need me, I will never blame a whole race of people for the actions of those who choose to do evil, white or black because like them, I am human and i am capable of the very same evil. My actions & voice may be small and because im not spewing negative words, or taking sides my post will probably be ignored. But each individual on this earth has the ability to choose tolerance, and to humble themselves, to love and make a real change. That is the sign of true strength, true intelligence. No more hateful words towards blacks or whites or any other race or orientation, it belittles us all as a nation, it belittles what the people of the past have fought and died for.
