We soo need to change the way bullying is handled in our schools.....it seems that finally the powers that be are becoming aware of what a huge epidemic it is......the processes in place now....DO NOT WORK. Kids need to be taught from an early age that there are consequences to their actions, not that if they behave in an agressive manner they will be gentled. By all means provide them with counseling, if it is thought to be needed but appropriate punishment is important too. They are pandered to until they turn 16 and then are supposed to suddenly develop responsibility for their actions....the school system is geared toward the offender, and not the victim...it is all so wrong and so broken....seriously....our government, the school bodies, the need to FIX IT!!!!!! before we end up like America, needing metal detectors and security presence in our schools....our children are in real danger!!!!!
