We started a tub surface refinish today. The first step is to remove all of the hardware, shower door & trim. We apply a 2 step cleaner/stripper and then scrap all of the loose soap, grease & porcelain. We then do an overall acid wash to make sure nothing was missed. The next step will be to clean the tub one more time, apply a sealer and then start applying the new porcelain overlay......4 to 5 times. Check back to see how the finished tub will look.
