We started the week with a phone call telling us Gait Lab/orthopaedics has been cancelled on us for Thursday. We will need to wait another couple of months before we can get back in. This isnt really an issue just frustrating because we have other appointments at RCH this Thursday that we have to go to anyway. Anyway, today we headed to Physio for Kids to see Tandy! We LOVE her. She is happy with Ryes progress and the stepping he is doing. We do need to remind ourselves that we are treating Rye for Dystonia now and he isnt your average hemiplegic child. He is a little more complex, and gets all the therapist and doctors thinking but thats nice! He is so individual and unique! We are so lucky that Rye has such a supportive, motivated, passionate team of therapist and specialists behind him! We talk about so much in this appointment, so if you have any questions about Rye or anything related please ask xx
